3-Position Blade:
Position 1. Bridge Pickup
Position 2. Neck Pickup with Tone Control (Bright Vintage Circuit)
Position 3. Neck Pickup with No Tone Control (Dark Vintage Circuit)

Yes, it's an early 50's, but from I can remember from articles, I don't think he is the original owner of it. I believe "he" got it that way, meaning it had the Gibson PAF in the neck already.

They're beautiful, but I'd prefer the "old" vintage reissue series.

Very cool indeed. I dig the flatter-then-vintage radius, medium jumbo frets, and the thin nitro finish. I wonder if it feels akin to the Highway 1 finishes.

And Mike, I concur, the SM-1 is a vastly underrated tele neck pickup.
