I know it's not the same, but I don't think they're so night & day different that one should be praised and the other hated. Both are still using somebody else's work as the basis for their product.I think borrowing a design and enhancing it with better parts and your personal spin is a little bit different from blatantly copying another company's design with cheaper parts and trying to say it's just as good.
One takes something good and adds value, the other takes something good and TAKES value.

Not amps, chinese made stuff. The pcbs in their pedals and pickups are made in china, so I always think it's funny when people gripe about chinese stuff on here. It's actually funny when anybody on any computer gripes about chinese stuff.oh and what amps do Seymour Duncan copy?
