I did it again....another Suhr. This one is a Classic S in Surf Green. Alder body, maple neck and fingerboard with a 9-12 inch compound radius. It has the V60LP single coils and the (superb)SSV humbucker in the bridge. This model also has Suhr’s SSC (Noise Cancelling system) for the single coils and it works as well as the company states.

This is Suhr #3 for me. You could say I’m a fan

The "nobrand" headstock shape and the odd middle eastern script on the logo have always been turnoffs for me.

But from what I hear they're epic guitars

I have played, several, and yeah, they're as great as you'd expect.

If I had a ridiculous amount of money to burn then I would certainly spend the 6 or so Ks to build me one... *sigh*

I've heard lots of positive comments about them, but nothing specific. Could you enlighten me as to what it is about them that you like as opposed to a high end Fender or G&L?
