Can u help me decide i know there is a lot of difference between the guitars but anyway
I voted Epi LP Classic Plus. As Thames mentioned the quality was an issue when I bought my LPCP. I checked the pickup cavities and found that the body was solid mahogany with a thick maple cap. This goes along way in producing the tones you associate with a classic LP. You can't go wrong with a good Les Paul.Thames said:EPI LP Customs are top-of-the-line. Of all the recent Epis I've seen/played, 90% of the Standards and cheapers were made of alder with slim maple veneer on top, whereas 90% of the Customs were mahogany, with a thick 1/4-1/2 maple cap (check inside the cutaway for an evidence of thick cap).
