New guy, new guitar - Taylor Electric

To steal another pic from their site...

Basically each string saddle is fully adjustable, and once you've got the intonation set, the saddles tighten down from underneath. So even when you remove the string tension the saddles stay where you put 'em.

Apparently they did something to optimize the break angle where the string passes over the saddle...not sure what it is exactly, but it definitely works well.

I get the taylor news letter and it had alot of details.. First, yeah, its smooth and unobtrusive for resting your hand. Second I belive it also clamps somehow from underneath so you get more wood transfer. Details are sketchy, but it was impressive.

And as prev mentioned, there is a precise detail about the string angle

D@mn man, that was one wicked demo! LOVED it!

And, BTW, you're GOOD. Very good vibe indeed.
It seems that Talor found one great home :)

Thanks! I'm really starting to get used to it. Yesterday was the first time I played it through the Valve Junior...with a proper cab & speaker I think that'll be a very fun match for the guitar.
