Just saw these on sale, thought I would check them out bc I like my little microcube.

I'm not seeing anything I would want to pay near 1000 dollars for. Very generic and uninspiring tones in the demo videos.

I swear, I think modeling amp tones peaked with the Vox blue grill models and Fender CyberTwins over a decade ago. Too bad really. Newer models have a million bazillion options and features, all of which sound equally uninspiring and sterile.

Nice player tho.. who is it ?

seemed to go downhill as the video went on and the gain was increased, culminating in one of the worst heavy sounds possible. the techniques in the country licks were pretty impressive.

I think it sounds pretty good, not that you can ever really tell from a demo video (I don't use particularly high-gain tones). It's definitely a good idea as a product, gets rid of most of the things I hate about modeling amps (complexity, useless low-quality effects, lack of an effects loop, and steep learning curve). It has pro features, simple controls, and quite a bit of power. However, if they seriously think they are going to sell many of those things at $1000 they have got to be high. For $600 that would be a pretty cool amp, but I can't see going any higher for a digital unit made overseas.
