Well, it only takes a second to try it. I raise them on all my guitars and it pulls more output of of them for sure.

hehehe, no problem.

I'm glad you like the tone. The Rhythm guitarist in my band is selling his Line 6 stuff to get a Quick Rod now too. If you think it sounds good on this crappy home recording you should hear it cranked in front of a 4-12, mic'ed and through a big PA in a club.,... SCCCHHHAAAAWWWWWWING.

anywho, I haven't the room for a half stack these days...

raised the pole peices on my axis by the way..much better now..I'm playin' through a crummy little 1x10 peavy practice amp since my vetta's at the practice space, but I can tell the difference big time...

anyway, now that I've rambled on again..heheh...I never heard the sound that's been 'in my head' in a recording before until I hear your tone...so now I have something to use when tweaking my own sound...I know I probably won't be able to get it 100% like yours, but I'm gonna do my best to steal it...lol

Thats really cool. I've never played through an amp in my life that people have liked like this one. Too bad were so far away we could get together and jam sometime.

ah, the flextone...decent amp...I can understand why he'd wanna trade up to a quick rod though..heheh...hearin' that clip makes me a beleiver! lol....too bad expendable income is at a premium these days...sigh..oh well..such is life I suppoes =)

jamming would definetly be cool....not to mention enjoying your sunny florida weather...lol...

Yeah, you know it does actually sound really good. It really easy to get a nice "NU" Metal tone out of it and the cleans are great... but damn them honkin' tube amps, I just can't get away from.

i mainly play a historic les paul with burtsbuckers but i just picked up an EBMM axis

nice =) u like it? I love mine now that I raised the pole peices..the true test, however, will be when I plug it into my real rig....it sux that you can't raise the pups in that thing..which drove me NUTS! and Iw as pissed about the action till I emailed EBMM and they told me to just adjust the truss rod (put an allen key into the dial where the neck meets the body and rotate it to the right)..so it's much lower now...

Biu, your skillz are quite good now. Its scary to think what your going to sound like when your about 25. I hope I'm around to hear it. If anything I told you helped, I am very flattered and happy to offer any tips anytime.
