man... this's gonna be good, I feel it :naughty:

Re: New Mesa Boogie pedals

Being made by Mesa I'm sure they will be good - but is it only me or is anyone else starting to think maybe there are enough overdrive pedals already?

There's plenty available, but you need to find the ones that work for you. I just posted about 20 of them in the For Sale sub forum. :D

Designed and handbuilt in California? These are gonna be pricey. I'd like to see if the Throttle Box can do anything other than the 80s stuff shown in the demo video.

Re: New Mesa Boogie pedals

Kind of a weird move. The market is already saturated with drive pedals, and there doesn't seem to be really anything unique about any of these. This is the first time I've ever seen Mesa pull a "me too" with a product.

Re: New Mesa Boogie pedals

They look really cool, but I don't use tone enhancing pedals anymore so they won't be on my gas list.

Re: New Mesa Boogie pedals

I mean Mesa isn't completely new to pedals. Mesa does have the massive V-Twin which is an amazing sounding pedal but pricey and takes up a lot of real estate.

Having said that, I'm totally interested.

No matter with the layout....total Xotic to look at.

The RC, AC, BB and TS-808/9 are all known to work extremely well with Mesas. I'd be surprised if Mesa didn't take a look at all those circuits during the design process, and I feel it's fairly safe to say that the Grid Slammer is probably a straight up Tubescreamer.
