Waits for the next amp or something else maker to fall into the metoo pedal abyss...

ive been looking at the mesa website cos im half gassing for a lonestar to possibly replace my old twin...on the mesa/boogie andy timmons demonstration video of the amp, he is raving about the carl martin compressor and how good it is.

After watching the videos, in addition to the Flux-Drive, I'm interested in the clean boost. Both pedals would fit very nicely on my board.

I liked the tone burst the most from the vids on the site. I didnt like the way the Throttle Box sounded too muddy no definition.

They LOOK real cool, too bad I am not in the least bit interested in any of them. Does anyone here plan on buying one to put in front of their Mesa amp? I can't imagine throwing an overdrive in front of mine, but sometimes there are interactions between pedal and amp that just speak to you as a player ...

These pedals -- and the Bogners -- are probably aimed at people who'd like to have a Mesa or Bogner amp but who can't quite manage one and would settle for a dirt box from the same company, to give them some of that flavor.

You know… people like me.

Has anyone tried the FLUX-DRIVE yet? I am missing my old Boogie and wonder if the FLUX-DRIVE would help me recapture some of that magic. Not that I NEED another stompbox - if it as good as it looks i'm in.
