new nut question

i just got an sx strat in the mail. I love how it sounds, but there is one problem. The slot where the nut is placed is not even. I mean that it is not perpendicular with the neck, it is higher on the low e string. when looking at it there is a slight angle. Is there a way for me to fix this? Also, i was considering getting a warmoth neck just because it would be cool to have a birdseye maple neck, but the warmoth necks are 2 and 3/16" at the bottom of the neck. My sx neck is only 2 and 1/8" at the 22nd fret. is there any place where i could get a neck that might work?

Re: new nut question

If this is a new guitar take it back and have it repaired. It is under Warantee. As far as neck replacements go Warmouth can generally make anything you need. There are other places also .

My friend Wattage has bought many bodies and necks from both Warmouth and USA. I like some of the things I have seen at Edenhaus, but I have not seen or played any of the stuff they make. I have a Warmouth neck on a Strat and I like it very much!!
