I have a 2001 Santana SE that is AMAZING.

The earliest SEs had some really wonderful examples that held their own with US models. I remember being floored by a couple. A few years later, they started cutting corners (e.g., cheaper hardware) and became just another import guitar IMO. That was certainly the case with the Tremonti SE I owned.
