Hi
I wonder if anyone can help, I changed the bridge bushings on my les paul style guitar a few months ago.....I replaced the bridge bushings as it was a Schaller 455 bridge and the bridge posts would not fit the original bushing..
I wasnt aware that Schaller Bridge Bushings are slightly smaller in diameter then the stock bushing, so when I put them in it could be pulled out if you tugged on them...
I know now that its best to redowel the holes and redrill post holes, however I glued them in using superglue that was put around the outside of the bushing and then push fitted into the whole when the glue was still wet...
Ive got no problem with this as I do not want to change the bridge in the future and I got the correct angle for the posts....
What im worried about is if the superglue will be strong enough in time to come....
Has anyone done this and does anyone know if superglue is ok....
Rgds
