New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

This Schecter LP Solo 2 guitar is coming soon. It looks amazing. I own one Schecter. I love the amplifiers. I look at their guitars sometimes. But this thing is really nice. 799 dollars. Flamed top. And a push pull tone option. It look just like a high end Gibson. But cost a little less. It has a c raidis neck. What do you personally thank of them? I like the Amplifiers. But Schecter is putting some amazing axes hear lately.

never played that model, but schecter is making some very nice guitars over the last few years. lots of bang for the buck

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

I'm surprised they didn't do a straight copy down to the control setup. Great looking guitar still. Congrats.

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

I own two Schecters and have played quite a few guitars from their lines. Schecter has some of the highest bang for the buck of any guitar manufacturer. I've been really impressed with the tone, playability, and durability of mine, as well as the looks.

I do not own one but would like too. It will be offered soon. I would like to try one when it comes out and then save my cash for it and buy it. Sorry for the mixup. I want to own it. :argh::rolleyes::23:

Oh, I misunderstood the titles.

You totally should. Schecters play great for the price.

I really dig it, would definitely want to give it a look! I loved the Schecters I owned!

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

You will love it. I had a Solo SLS. The guitar played and sounded great, the locking tuners and all hardware was nice and worked great. The Duncan Blackouts were very good (but I still like EMG's better). I sold the guitar for one reason...it was a bit heavy for my bad back. But they truly make some great budget guitars. One of my two main guitars is a Schecter C1-EA, I put real Duncans in it....and I find it amazing. I use the piezo for some recording, just a great guitar all around....and I'm an old guy that has owned everything since the 70's (and stuff from the 60's too for that matter). Good luck! This was mine:

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

That actually looks pretty sweet, Schecter has been knocking it out of the park the past several years. The guitars coming out of WMI in S Korea that I've played have all been great instruments, I have owned two Schecters now and for the price they can't be beat.

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

Haven't played their single cuts but every C-type Schecter I've played from their lowest-end to their high-end looked, felt and sounded as if it cost significantly more than it actually did.

Still pretty bummed that I never got to actually own one (gotten close once or twice but always something got in the way)

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

The LP forums said it looked like a Epiphone. Does it look like a Epiphone to you? The snob place did not really care for it but did not hate it either.

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

Epis have a far uglier headstock than this one.
Sure body-wise it looks a lot like an Epi which in turn looks pretty much like a Gibson LP which, was the whole point to begin with (minus the cutaway shape, the controls and the pickguard).

It is interesting to note that their original Solos looked less like a straight-up LP copy than this one does, guess Schecter's lawyers feel confident Gibson can't go after them like they did with Warmoth (which was a S&D to begin with).

In any case, it looks phenomenal and if it plays and sounds like the Schecters I've tried did then you can only put this in the "Score" category.

Enjoy her in good health man :headbang:

Re: New Schecter LP guitar coming soon.

Very nice, that's a Schecter I would consider owning.
