I'll demonstrate it in a clip if you're interested, I've been planning to do one for a while now.
That'd be nice, thank you. :) But only if it's not too much hassle for you. I'm quite sure about buying the SPC now, but a clip would be really nice. Thanks.

No prob at all, I've been postponing a recording too long. I'll let you know when I'm done with it, probably (=hopefully) it'll be soon!

That generalization is unfair IMO, both companies have everything from a Tree trunk (bigger than Les Paul) to a twig.... the ESP KH-2 for example is by far one of the thinnest necks I´ve ever played including Inabez, an "ultrathin U" I´d call it... A Jackson Swee-Tone on the other hand has a thick V profile ;)

Perhaps it is unfair, Zerb. It *is* a generalization though. I can't think of one Jackson I've ever played that didn't have a very wide/ flat neck...don't know if that is their standard profile or what, and I'm sure the custom shop would built to suit. My DKMGT has that wide/flat neck though, as did my soloists going on memory (at least very similar). It's not a *bad* neck, and for that kind of shape I prefer it over say an Ibanez, PRS or other "thin/wide" neck by far.

Most of the ESP's I've handled though have a rounder back profile..similar to a Schecter C1. More "meat".
