The "Gumby" headstock has got to be the worst ever (Danelectro improved it significantly, but still pretty ugly), but it is followed very closely by some of the Deans that are nearly as big as the guitar's body (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/dean-79-series-ml-with-floyd), and CBS Fender paddle headstocks.
I've got quite a few Epis and the headstock design doesn't thrill me, but it certainly doesn't bother me at all. And as Artie has pointed out, the Custom models (including Sheraton) actually look very good. I like those much better than many of the Gibsons.
