This one starts off a bit different, the volume swells almost sound like horns on the low notes, but like a violin on the higher, lead line.

That has a lot of potential. The solo was nice. Definitely different from your other songs. I liked the transition into the heavy rhythm.

That's the PODxt with Andy Sneaps preset I just loaded up... sounded the best to me at the moment, so wa-lah.

I'm working on a permament setup for having the 5150 mic'd up when it arrives, so hopefully the tones will be a bit better/more consistent.

Erm wtf? This clip is like 1:17 IIRC.


Still rockin the EMG's, DiMarzio Blaze single coil neck, but I think I'm going to be switching it out for the 707 (I believe what made me hate the neck 707 was the Recto, having a ****ty lead tone, and me trying to make up for it).

I'll be getting a guitar in the near future (hopefully) to load up with DiMarzio's, though, neck and bridge.

LOL Yes. Been discussed many times since then, so you can check out my past posts for a more detailed answer, but in short, I'm going back to a 5150. I will get another Mesa in the (hopefully near) future, but it'll either be a preamp of somesort (Quad, TriAxis, V-Twin), or a MKIII or IV.

Thanks guys, but my 5150 owns the bollocks out of it, and the writing on the other song was better, IMO .
