Hey guys,

Recorded this yesterday.

using my new RG2570. This is my first time using guitar rig 2, but i just had some fun with it.

I used my tube mp preamp to amplify the raw guitar signal.

I was recording with a 5 ms delay only, so that worked out pretty good.

I put a "plexi" patch on the left channel and a "gratifier" (rectifier) patch on the right side. The clean section was also a jumble of different things and effects.

Cool indeed!
I am not the biggest fan of Carlos...but I liked this rendition!

Seems like the Ibbie is doing its job just fine!

Hey thanks a lot man.

Actually, you know, i find he plays really out of time a lot of the time. He rushes, or plays out of the beat on purpose. It's a love it or hate it thing. Also sometimes he plays with a dry, muffled tone, whilst using a $10 000 guitar. LOL.

I just really enjoy these several melodic tunes he has. There are a couple more: "I love you too much", "Samba pa ti", "Evil Ways", "Primavera", several other latin ones, i don't remember the name.

I like his out stuff just ok
Some of that older music of his, is just really good stuff....and he likes some jazzy/Latino things for sure!
Not strange when you think of his upbringing.
There are days where I like him better, and others where I just turn it off.
But I sure recognise the importance of him....and he has influenced alot of players....my self included
