New wiring idea: who can help me out?

I am going to make a strat with a PATB3 in the bridge and two PASTK1n in neck and middle.

I was wondering, what if I split off the bottom coil on each PASTK and put them in series, to fake a humbucker. How should I go about it?

I have at my disposal 1x 5 way switch with 4 poles (superswitch), and 2 pushpull pots (1 can even be a 4 pole up/down push pull if need be).

Who has any idea how to make this work? The superswitch will just do the classic options of bridge, bridge & middle, middle on its own, middle& neck, neck.

I don't think you'd need a super switch if you want to save the part. I'm pretty sure it could be done with one dpdt switch.

A few questions:

Why the bottom coil? I think you'd have to do one top and one bottom to be noiseless and in phase.
Do you want the pseudo humbucker to bypass the pickup switch?

The basic idea would be take the hot of one coil and tie it to the ground of the other coil. That would most likely take two poles. If you want to bypass the pickup selector switch it would take another pole, if you don't, the 5-way would probably act funny.

Arties "virtual 3rd" mod would be worth looking into for reference, because it's a similar idea.

I meant to say that I'll split off (off as in, away) the bottom, so I'll keep the top coil.

superswitch: because I have those readily available and the schaller version is quite small, so very little issues fitting it :)

I indeed want a pseudo humbucker and I think with the PASTK's it might work?
