I'm not a huge fan of PRS... but im glad other people are because that means more Gibsons for me :)

For many many years I felt the same and never considered buying one to play myself because of that. I snagged my 07 Custom 24 simply because it was such a CRAZY deal and I was going to flip it and make $$. That was until I took it out to practice and got it in a real band situation.
Been over 5 months now and I have yet to play a single gig without using that guitar.
To top it off I really struggled with getting used to the 10 radius on the board and still don't think it plays nearly as well as my Carvins or Washburns but it's the TONE--. It just responds SO well all over the neck like nothing else I have ever played that I'm HOOKED on these guitars now!

I do like the idea of the SC245's but think I've only actually played one once, which felt and sounded great. I also get on just fine with the SE's in singlecut form - a Soapbar and a Korina. Those are noticeably lighter and thinner in the body than a US model though. It looks like you got yourself a very tasty axe there.

Glad that one is working for you! Yeah, Ive played a few lately that really make me see what the hubbaloo is about.. Sadly, they are getting to be over $3k tho.. So Im gonna get hooked on them and then not be able to afford one.. haha.

It's actually black or dark grey on the CU22. I rather like the tone on the 513, it can go so thick on that 3rd toggle position, or you can back it off in the middle one and get something much more standard humbucker-like tone wise. I've not really got into its single coil settings at all, but they're there if needed. It's very versatile in what it does.

Oh the 513s are versatile without question.

That Custom 22, is that an Artist package too?

Yeah it is. I bought it online from Garrett Park Guitars a few years back. I've still got their promo shot somewhere - I'll have to dig it out. It just screamed "buy me!". I was seriously thinking of getting a matching Singlecut at one point, it never quite happened though.

I have seen one almost exactly the same before and I tell you that the pictures don't do it justice. The white looks nicer in person.
