It's huge for sure. The case itself looks like it's made for a bass guitar. I agree, it's more versatile than I thought it would be.

I have a pretty small bedroom for most of my gear. First couple times I'd reach down to diddle a knob on a pedal w/ the Bird on my lap I'd almost snap the neck off not paying attention as the bird waved around knocking into furniture with me not paying attention

I can definitely see that happening. I'm real conscious of holding onto the neck when I move around ( to pick up a beer, etc....:laugh2

Mine has the Banjo tuners. I love, did I say LOVE the tone. Very unique bright tone...like Ashur*** said, Tele on steroids.

I've been wanting to put Steinburgers in mine to reduce the weight of the headstock, but I don't play it enough to justify the expense.
