Love the headstock, love the guitar.

Say, I'm curious about these 'boutique' Strat brands: Anderson, Suhr, Tyler... I played a Suhr once YEARS ago and it was basically bright and not much else. How is the Tyler sounding? I'm still looking for 'that' ballsy as hell Strat tone...

What do you class as ' ballsy as hell Strat tone ' ?

My absolute favourite Strat humbucker is the Tyler Secret.
I've never tried the Duncan version that's in Don's lovely Burning Water but the Tyler Secret is 13k and voiced like a hot Tele pickup.
If like me you run it in a Strat with 250 pots, it absolutely SINGS !
It also splits like nothing else I've ever tried.

I love the thing but they're expensive and a nightmare to obtain.

That's a very unique instrument there. Sounds like it's got some special history too. Cool.
