Here's my '97 Strat Plus, which I got in August 1997.

Fun idea. I should look for something made in 1985, but I guess I'd be pretty limited to neon superstrats...

Scratch that... Found this badass in the 1985 Ibanez catalog. DT380RS.

Should match my new DT520 nicely.

I guess I would have to go with a Tele...no Strats or Les pauls yet. (1951). Love to have a '51 Tele, Broadcaster, Esquire or Nocaster.......

I'm a '62er myself and have a couple '62 strats and one '62 tele - great fender guitars.
I too want a '51 fender broadcaster but the reissues tend to have 9.5 fretboards and I'd like one in the traditional 7.25 neck/fretboard radius.

Nice score! I should have jumped on a Gibby that was my birth year(82) on eBay for 3xx. It needed guts and hardware....dammit.......
