Tone Zone/Air Norton is my fav set of pups ever... (Sorry Seymour, but the heart wants what it wants).

The TZ/AN is a great set in the right instrument. They don't sound horrible in this guitar, just (as I said in the OP) a little dark and uninspiring. Too smooth, not enough cut. Fortunately, I have a set of black/cream Black Winters ready to go in. Hoping to find time this week. I've been so dang busy since December I haven't been able to mod or repair any of my guitars!
