It's the season of giving right? So I decided to give a gift to myself. My dream guitar has finally arrived! :14: I decided to wait until Christmas to open it, and it was definitely worth the wait, this guitar is AMAZING,
Fender Stratocaster - Made in USA. I love looking at that writing, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.

Talk about glossy, I almost thought there was a layer of plastic over the maple.

After a long day of non-stop Hendrix...

I've been playing this guitar non-stop, I knew it was a major crap shoot to buy a guitar like this before trying, but I got a good one. The factory setup surprised me a lot, I didn't need to make any adjustments to it. I don't think I could have bought a more perfect guitar, it sounds awesome, and it plays awesome. The CS Fat 50s are great pickups, I really enjoy them through my valveking. I've been jamming on a lot of RHCP and Hendrix with them. They're going to be switched out for 2 SSL-1s and an SSL-5 later this week, though. The trem has surprised me a lot as well, it takes a good amount of abuse while still staying in tune.
This is actually my first time buying a brand new guitar besides my first guitar(a yamaha acoustic), so it's really weird for me worrying about damaging it. I'm loving the vintage look of the creme plastic parts and the olympic white body. I thought it was going to be a lot whiter but it's really more of a creme, which I am in love with!
I think she's gonna be getting a new mint green pickguard when I drop the Duncan singles in.
