I did this finish about 6 years ago and after a huge struggle i left it sit waiting for the right parts. The right parts never came so i decided i would just assemble it with what i had in my spares.

Still setting it up i have been a bit lost but i got this far and that's really something :18:

1980ish dt50 modded to HS and a schaller bridge. I bought it cheap as it had a failed fr install with action higher than a slide guitar. I filled in the fr cavity and luckily the bridge posts go into the original wood so it's as stable as ever.

Always wondered what the engraving meant on the plate?

This is super rad. I'm assuming the graphic is a vinyl wrap so how hard was it to get on there cleanly?

Re: NGD ibanez destroyer saint seiya.

I like the setup with the schaller bridge. been looking around for one of those.

Re: NGD ibanez destroyer saint seiya.

Very cool! Cool axe and cool finish! The engraving on the plate means that it was made in Japan... LOL sorry, being a tool.

yeah, curious. Assuming you are not the original owner, I can only assume it was someones labeling system for ID. That or the dude had over 2000 guitars....

Re: NGD ibanez destroyer saint seiya.

You cant see in the picture but on the other are in teh shadow its engraved R.H.L? I'm sure it means something but why would you?

Thanks

Re: NGD ibanez destroyer saint seiya.

I didnt see the RLH. I see it now. Looks like initials. Ive known people to label/mark/engrave etc their gear in case it gets stolen or whatever. Not a bad idea.
