NGD Warmoth Soloist

Re: NGD Warmoth Soloist

That came out great. It is a bit unconventional for that body style but you executed the plan beautifully.

What neck profile did you go with? I love their boat neck contour. Both of my Warmoth necks have it.

I love the satin feel on necks. I think gloss or painted necks are sticky.

You should put the Warmoth gold logo on that headstock, it looks like it needs something.

Re: NGD Warmoth Soloist

Thank you Erik. The neck is Warmoth's standard thin and 10" to 16" compound radius - my favorite neck specs. The standard thin is like a really good Fender neck.

To me the neck doesn't feel at all sticky, maybe because my hands stay really dry all the time. I have a Hamer with a gloss finished neck and that is ultra smooth for me too. Lucky, I guess.

I'm debating whether to put on a Warmoth logo or not. I'd like to give them credit for great workmanship on the parts, but I have to think about it some more. That decal on your neck looks like it belongs there, though.
