NGD!

Re: NGD!

They wear out very slowly it could be said that they don't. SS is much harder than nickel, so it's the strings that will wear out, and I've heard the strings wear out quite faster.

Awesome axe!!! SS frets are like the energizer bunny...keep going and going. I dont have a serious string wear prob on my ss fretted guitar, but only slightly faster wear. I love all the features of those, except I like jumbo frets..

I usually like medium/jumbo frets too, but these actually feel very nice. They are short so I don't have to worry about pushing too hard and going out of tune

Re: NGD!

Can anyone think of a good name for her? The best I've come up with is "blondie"

Name:
Sexy Bi**h!

The case is little red riding hood and inside is the big bad Wolf! I really like that they have gone to the square block inlays! The smaller frets would be ok since they wont wear fast..

As far as a name.. who do you think is sexy? name it aft her. one of mine is Halle. (Berry). One is Julie. (Julie Newmar who orig played Catwoman on the Batman TV show)

Re: NGD!

Name her after Wolfie's mom..............could be "Val" or "Bert" or even "Valerie."
Val used to pose with a few of Eddie's guitars - nice pics....great guitars.

Re: NGD!

Fantastic looking top on that. Usually I tell folks to enjoy the new guitar but I can tell you already do. :headbang:

Re: NGD!

I love those, I have a Les Paul, and the Wolf Custom seems to eliminate a lot of the problems I have with it

Re: NGD!

Im getting a little bit of a sitar buzz, so I just went ahead and ordered a new 'original' R2 floyd nut. Other than that, love the guitar. The longer scale length isn't that much different, but I do notice it the most on the low E string; much stiffer feeling, but in a good way

Re: NGD!

Slip a small piece of foam under the strings after the nut or a piece of black tape ala Dimebag.
