I figure that I have the "pointy" bases all covered. Most of my guitars are superstrats, except for the V. Now I have both a traditional strat and a traditional LP.

If I had an LP or SG I would want it to be a sleeper with only 2 pickups but all kinds of switching and knobs available.

This one has push/pulls for both volumes that split the pickups.

Changed the strings yesterday, Put on a set of Dunlop Heavy Core 10-48. While I had the old set off, I pulled the pickups just to see what they are.

Those are the Epi versions of the Gibson Burstbucker 2 and 3, AFAIK. Pretty decent as far as PAF pickups go, IMO.

I knew that the Probucker was based off of the Burstbucker 3. Didn't know that the neck pup was based off the 2.
They sound good. Like a 70's LP. Plenty of mids, but chunk and zing too. And there are push'pulls to split them.
It makes for a very versatile mid position on the three way switch.
