So, more importantly, did you decide WLH vs Black Winter?

I will probably go WLH ....however, I got a call about a new pickup (not even named yet) last night that would be perfect for this guitar. There is a good chance I am getting one of the beta units. The guitar gets here today but I am not opening it until Christmas so I have plenty of time.

I emailed the CEO at Musicians Friend and stated my case. I got a call from one of the managers just now and I got the guitar for $379! Bonus my wife bought it as a Christmas gift.

HOW TO TELL IF YOU CAN TRUST SOMEONE:
1.Assess if they have something to gain by lying to you
2.Assess if they have something to lose by telling you the truth

The guitar is in the diningroom still in the box. I am going to wait until Christmas to open it up. I think that is the fair thing seeing the wife bought it for me. Haven't even looked at it and it is killing me.
