I bought a fairly pricey one in December, and I promised myself no new ones until that one is paid off (I charged part of it), and maybe a bit after that. Yet just this morning I'm on facebook and I saw a nice Squier P-bass on that little pop up window you get with marketplace previews. I started thinking, hmm, I haven't owned a bass in a long time........It never fails, You try to be strong, and something catches your eye. I really don't need it, and my wife really would kill me. So, I'm passing on the bass.
You will fail. There will be something shiny and attractive that will catch your eye and you will not resist.

Stay strong, man. Had resolved not to buy anything myself, and already caved once.
GC had misidentified the model of a Zerberus and listed it cheap; I couldn't resist and jumped on it before someone else did.
Not guilty about the price, either. If it were a private seller I'd have felt obliged to point out the error.
But as for bloody Guitar Center, they could've looked it up.
I feel a bit of chagrin at my lack of willpower.
No regrets about the acquisition though - the guitar is immaculate. And wickedly beautiful.
The Universe handed it to me on a platter. How could I refuse?

I've already failed.... Little bit of Jim Beam mixed with Reverb. I made an offer I didn't think would be accepted. Woke up this morning to an offer accepted Email. Oh well, I've been wanting a semi-hollowbody anyway haha

Gosh I've done that a few times... New pedal or pickups show up at the door.... Run go check my eBay.... Sure enough bought it after a night of rot gut!
