Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

Thank you...I appreciate it.

I feel like I have covered the "Paul/Strat/Tele" thing with what I felt were interesting examples and each one that I've held onto "spoke" to me from a quality/feel/playing perspective above the ones that have "come and gone".

Only thing I feel like I'm missing is a Neck-Thru. :saeek:

Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

Yeah,

I too would like neck throughs. Whilst I have the engineering skills I could apply! [There'd be a learning phase] I simply don't have the space. My 'Space' is full of my professional stuff. I try not to grow out of the Equipment space and into the home. I have a colleague, where you sit on his couch beside a 5K Lamp - Not great!

For me though, it's the mechanical fitting, and electronic re-wiring or scratch wiring that gets me satisfied.

So... Any UK guys want some re-wiring? I accept GOOD wine [Red mostly, New World, Good Italian/Spanish or REAL expensive French]

Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

Nice selection but no Pointy guitars, Explorer, V, Mockingbird...... :)

Thank you. No...I tried a Gibson Flying V for a while...great neck access all around but I couldn't get comfortable with it. Also had a Gibson Firebird...same deal...great guitars, but just awkward for me.

Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

Always wanted a Firebird but they NEVER hang right for me.

Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

I've always wanted a red Standard but they are hard to come by. Nice one you got there!

Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

Nice guitars bro.
Then again, you already know how I feel about them.
:)

I was in the Army with a girl named Michelle Logan from Murfreesboro TN.
Small world.

Re: Not quite a "Group Shot"...

Thanks fellas. First college I attended was Tennessee Tech University. I grew up in Boma, Tennessee, just outside of Baxter/Cookeville.

In the immortal words of Elvis Aaron Presley..."thank you, thank you very much". ;)

I was fortunate to find it and went through a bit of an ordeal to get her. I'd wanted an LP since I was a teenager and never really found one that I just couldn't walk away from (or afford) until this one. Ran across it at the right time &price and I'm just happy that I was able to get her.

BTW....I've seen a couple of your Pauls in other posts, particularly that beautiful flamey one and "Dixie"!. A couple of real nice lookers you've got there yourself.
