I'm not particularly fond of Ibanez though, so I's probably get a high-end ESP with that cash.

Get an old 80's Charvel, like a Model 5 or 6 (if you want neck thru. If you can hang with a bolt-on, get a Model 4). 80's Kramers are the shiznit, too.

They don't seem to be common over here though, I never see Charvels or Kramers anywhere

I have an AT-1, the big brother, wondergul guitar, and a Wilk/Sperzel combo is great if you don´t constantly go totally nuts with the bar

Yeah, I came across that one. I don't know much about those tremolo's though - cn they do everything a FR can?
