His main multi-swirl UV was an iconic guitar of my youth the way something played by Clapton must be for old codgers who grew up when he was the current Guitar God. I guess Steve thinks of that guitar as being too associated with 1990 and Passion and Warfare, and doesn't want to go backwards, but I'd still love to see he break out some of the old UVs.
I have little doubt he'll play the new JEM 7 since it's based on his apparent favorite guitar of all time....
Yeah. It'd be nice if he busted out an old swirl, floral, or UV on stage every once in a while. He's done some videos with the burnt UV, like guesting on Orianthi's 'Highly Strung' and the Jemini dirt pedal.
Given the amount of guitar tracks songs have, a 7 is probably buried in there somewhere.
