NPD: Sparkly Orange Hockeypuck

Been wanting one of these for a while as a fuzztortion, and one came up on Reverb in a cool color at a good price. It doesn't sound nearly as much like a Rat as everyone tells you it does. The reissue version that I have claims to have tweaked the tone stack to thicken it up. I do like how nicely the switches partition the boost, od, distortion, and fuzz modes

I have a silver one, and the builder sometimes plays bass in my band. It don't think it sounds much like a Rat, more like a refined fuzz. Fantastic into a Fender or Marshall.
