NPD x 2 ... Catalinbread and Wren and Cuff

recently ordered a wren and cuff Tall Font Russian to replace my little big muff and a Catalinbread SFT to score those ampeg tube amps cranked and sputtering tones....

First time I clicked on the SFT I had finally found the sound I had been looking for for awhile... I plugged in a Sheraton II and cranked my Traynor YGL2 and kicked it on and instant Queens of the stone age blunt heavy dirty overdrive and then when I clicked on the wren and cuff stacking it with the SFT it was the most satisfying feeling I have ever gotten from dirt pedals... The Wren And Cuff on its own sounds good but not as rich and sputtery as it does with the SFT on ...

The SFT acts as like a foundation pedal and I put it at the end of my dirt chain just before delays to pretty much turn whatever amp I'm using into a semi cranked Ampeg V4 or VT-40 and when I kick on my bad monkey to boost it it reacts just like boosting an Ampeg.. the folks at Catalinbread really nailed that sound and how unique it is.

here is a demo of the SFT first then I kick on the Wren and cuff for a fuzzy boost... I realize this tone is not everyones taste but for me it is perfect!

Nice score. Man I love my SFT. Really great & versatile pedal. It has tons of fat clean boost available too. Working the volume and the drive controls gives you lots of different flavors. I'm surprised more people haven't discovered it.

yeah the SFT has a lot of volume on tap which I also like. Sounds great going into many amps too which is also great, it retains the same character I found.

This pedal just floors me everytime I kick it on , I could not be happier
