Ok call me crazy....

Re: Ok call me crazy....

Oh, so now that you own 1 good amp, you know everything there is to know about tone? Dude, you're at best pathetic. Blowing smoke, yeah you should know all about that one since it's all you ever do on here. You're a waste of server space and oxygen. I've tried to be nice to you but every time I turn around all I see is one worthless Dbag trolling this place up with your BS. I am not full of it, and I'm most certainly not your biatch. Stupid worthless drunken idiot.

Word, tell it.

Re: Ok call me crazy....

Running two amps DOES indeed give you big tone (in spite of what MetalManiac said). One clean and one dirty is huge. Both clean gives you a depth that you can't get with just one amp...ANY amp. Running both dirty gives you a tremendous depth and tone and, believe it or not, actually INCREASES clarity at the same time that it increases dirt.

I wouldn't ever consider going back to just one amp. If I was ever forced to just use one amp, it would be a tremendous sacrifice.

Crusty- I wonder how many people consider phase when they run two different amps ?

I was thinking about running them both with a radial switchbone and I think that one has the 180 degree polarity thingy. Would that get rid of any phase issues?

Got any suggestions for what to pair with my Fender besides a bluesbreaker?

Re: Ok call me crazy....

You certainly do care, and I had nooooo idea about that self-loathing period I just learned about thanks to you lol. You seriously thought you said that? I think I would like that Jerry a lot more.

The "Mr Wangcaster" joke, you're the only one immature and childish enough that finds that funny. Aren't you a grown adult? You have the personality of a teenage girl.

Yeah, you're doing a really great job proving that you're more mature than him.

The Rivera era Fender Concert is a 60 watt amp. You never mentioned which version you have. Is it a head, 1x12, 2x10 or the 4x10 and who manufactured the speakers Eminence (blue label fender) or EV?

I would be thinking a Bassman into a 2x12, a Marshall JTM 45 type amp or a Vox AC30 if all you need is additional thickness.

Have you looked into all of the mods available in the mega threads for the Concert over at TGP? There is a lot you can do with your amp to give it more character by itself.

Re: Ok call me crazy....

It's the 4x10 with the Blue Label Fenders. I don't want to mod it because for recording it's great when you put two mics on it and record stereo and I love the clean sound. I mostly want to give a little contrast on the other side of the stage and maybe a bit more thick. Figure it might sound like two people are playing instead of one.

That is a pretty loud amp and using the clean by-passes the master volume.

Have you thought about another Concert in a stereo rig? You will get endless combinations using the second channel on one or both amps.
