Okay Aceman, you wanted the Beast, you got the Beast!

Re: Okay Aceman, you wanted the Beast, you got the Beast!

Did the final sanding on the Warlock and two Beast bodies. Will let the dust settle in the garage before I start putting the finish on.

I'm liking this weather here, I think I'll be able to work in the garage year round. :D

I dig em! The shape isn't for me but honestly, not much that isn't V or Explorer styled, is. There's just something about the way they hang on a strap.

And...to pile on...BM: you sure seem like a miserable old bastard. I sincerely hope this isn't the high point of your day because that would be sad.

Maybe not in the winter.

I'm just outside of Phoenix, with an attached garage. Summer did get a little warm in the garage, but I'm sure the garage will be fine in the winter. I used to reload in the garage in Michigan with just a tiny electric space heater. ;)

Hey, you guys are all great. Just different strokes for different folks.

I'm not a pointy kinda guy either, but that doesn't mean anything about Dominus enjoying finishing guitars. Heck, I like to do a bit of that stuff myself.

But don't ask me to post some clips of me playing...not playing in a band right now. And even if I was I wouldn't know how to manipulate any software to produce any kind of a rendition of my guitar playing expertice.

But I can understand where Blueman's coming from, and Metal Maniac, and Ace, and Astro, and Glen and Ben and Jerry and Bob and all. I think so far we are only expressing opinions, right? Nothing wrong with that until we start putting each other down because of theirs. Heck, I've done my share of that. But I'm one of those old guys who should know better.

Ahh, reload. A man after my own heart. Nothing better than guns and guitars.

i changed my mind, i like the first one in this thread (#3?) best.
they're both total transformations, IMO

Hey Dominus - we REALLY need a nice group shop of these BEASTS (literally and figuratively!)

Right now there's only the two. I'm going to start with the finishes on the Warlock and two more Beasts today. (I'm still waiting on a neck for the last Beast, but that should be here soon.) Should only be a few days, Tru Oil is so easy to work with.
