OMG, i am in musical bliss, i just got back from my local shop, i just played a godin LG(black) into a plexi with a 4x12 at FULL TILT, the most beautiful sound ever created, i am in heaven.

by the way, the plexi does metal fine, not the scooped mids crap, i am talking like Iron maiden, black sabbath, its tone and crunch are just so godly, the whole music store was shaking, and the pearl black godin was INCREDIBLE, i will be buying it after boxing day, i am thinkin about buying a plexi head(50 watt) of EvilBay and a 2x12 marshall cab :32: .

Dude, if you're gonna do proper metal, you need a 4x12.

your probably right, but i do need SOME sort of low(er) volume for practice at home, And plus 4x12's are much more expensive.....what type of cabs do you recommend?, i was checking out marshall cabs, but there pretty pricey, what do you think?, by the way twilight i checked out your band :headbang: good stuff i am enjoying it.

2-12's do an OK job, but I gotta agree with Twilight.....4-12's have the balls.
There's no sound quite like a humbucking guitar into a cranked plexi, even better if you have a nice overdrive in front of it. I love 50W plexi's, but you gotta have a place that can accomodate that kinda volume. A 50W plexi is equal to most 100 watters.

i played the 50 watt, seriously i am still stunned by the beautiful sound it cranked out, i knew plexi's were amazing, but when i played it, it just totaly blew me away, i see the 50 watt heads go for like 657 canadian on EvilBay, so i MUST have one lol, but i need money, i am gonna work like piss, 3 week countdown till godin= 18 days left :headbang:.
