hello! was wondering if anyone there is familiar with seymour duncans?LOL!!! if so I'm looking to see what you guys have to say. I'm looking for something with a good mid/treble spike but not harsh, moderate output and a little bass to round it out.not really vintage but not the other extreme either. i use a moderate amount of distortion(i like to hear every note im playing single or in chord form) im not into the scooped sound and dont do clean stuff. I'm playing a LP standard that has a pretty well rounded tone.pretty bright/mid not super bass heavy into a Mesa Stiletto (think jcm800 with more power/crunch)pretty bright sounding amp, with a slightly more crunch than vintage rhythm channel (AC/DC with more chunk) and a old EVH crossed with angus solo tone.
Thanks,
Doug

To me, it sounds like you're describing the JB Humbucker. Or for something with a little less output, a Screamin' Demon may suit your needs too :)

I'm not an expert on the higher output pickups, so these are just my opinions :)
