One amp only. Count em: ONE. See rules. This means you too Daemon's BBQ.
curious about choice overlap between chicken-pickers, jazz-cats, blues-dudes, rock-punks, metal-heads, zydeco-...uh...-people. For purposes of highly concentrated education about amps, hundreds of which we've maybe never played before.
I don't care if you own it, played it in the store for 10 minutes, read about it, heard about it from a friend, or it is the stuff of myth and legend. Never mind about speaker cabs, unless of course your choice is a combo.
if you play stadiums AND studios and you MUST have more than one amp, I guess you can have more than one choice, but only one for each application.
The rules:
1. You have to say why:
2. Price / budget is NOT a factor:
3. Forbidden, not allowed, no-no, or a hex on yer tone:
4. Styles and choices change with our growth, evolution. Pick one for where yer at now.
I am still thinking about my choice. One is from a land far away, and thus may be hard to have serviced, if and when. I've never played one of these. Another choice I have played, and yet another I owned for 10 years.

b. Yer welcome.
c. I will ship it to you shortly.
d. No, not really.

3. Forbidden, not allowed, no-no, or a hex on yer tone:
a. As a backup, I would choose....No.
b. I was going to say yadda, but....Nuh-uh.
c. My second choice is....Nyet.
d. Mike, why are you being such a picky bas-....But, no.

a. Not a factor this time, but at first I wanted this thread to cover that.
b. So, it's not one amp for life.
c. It's not one amp for the rest of yer musical career.
d. *** But, yer daydream amp could be able to cover any style as you grow/change. This would be a great choice (if possible) for the thread.
