Opinions on the original PAF PRO

What do you guys think of this pickup? Its coming on my USA strat, and i hear that its got a "vowel like" sound.

PAF Pro's rock!

I've got one in my strat and love it. For a PAF type pickup its got a lot of power IMO and sounds good clean.

What do you mean by "original"?

I like mine, if I understand you correctly it does have a bit of that vocal quality. It's good IMO, not overdone. Nice mids and balanced overall.

I have one in an '85 Hamer Scarab (bridge). Balanced, sounds good clean, overdrives nicely. It is my favorite guitar/pup combo with my JCM 900, and it sounds good with my other amps also, although I have some different preferences with those other amps (including Duncan equiped guitars!)
