I don't know about that but I had one of those little Tiny Terrrors that are about the width and height of a large smartphone and had a ton of fun. They have a tiny little matching cab that you would think probably sucks, but it's quite good. Of course, being me, I just used my 1x12 and it was loud for its size. It's designed with a single preamp tube I think. If you haven't tried that, then you should check it out. They're pretty cheap too.
Yeah, I like the little SS Tiny Terror...it sounds great. Did'nt care for the Dark Terror version as much.. (I'm talking about the little solid state boxes..don't know exactly what they're called)
Stick to what I said about the CR120h..best sounding Orange amp to my ears ..darker, more organic sounding, got something vintagy-great going lead-tone wise as well (idk..more warmth/less edge maybe?) & less fizzy than all their others...it's supposedly a great sub for the Rockerverb, but I'd actually say the opposite is true for me :laugh2: The Dark Terror (tube version) would be my next fave..
I currently have Tiny Terror. Don't plan to get another Orange anytime soon.
However, once they release Rocker 32 in head version. I probably have to get that. Only reason I didn't jump for it previously, was because I don't want nor need a combo.
Orange: "Look, we made an amp that's designed to run stereo effects!"
Guitarists: "Great, so we can run effects to the left and right speakers in the combo?"
Orange: "But you can send them out to other cabinets!"
Guitarists: "Yeah, but we still have to lug the combo around, can you just release it as a head please?"
I got tempted by the Micro Dark, as a little amp to have in the front room, but also to use with an A/B pedal as just a fuzz pedal/ extra channel, because you can just go in the front and out of the effects loop send and not worry about the solid state power section.
But I got an EHX 44 Magnum instead, so I can stick different pre-amp pedals with it.
I was tempted to get EHX 44 Magnum; to run TT into a load box and through it. Would have fixed my difficulties with cleans with it, but opted against it, thinking it might ruin that great distortion and dynamics TT has on it's own.
So I ended up getting a new amp...
I was looking rather lustfully at this one the other day:

The only problem is that I can't find anybody to sell me one.
How much do people charge to re-cover an amp?
A TT for the crunch and one of the Vox MV Clean amps for the cleans would be good, with a 2x12 cab set up to run each head into its own speaker. With the advantage of being able to take the heads separately if needed.
But that would also be a load of hassle compared to having one amp that can do cleans and crunch.
Which amp did you get?
To folks with Tiny Terrors, Dark Terrors, OR15's and other 15W Orange amps: Are they loud enough for loud full band practice with a hard-hitting drummer? Where do you usually have to set the volume for that?

I would unless you get enough from the 112. Through multiple efficient speakers, these amps are definitely loud. There won't be any super loud cleans with no distortion, but they clean up reasonably well for me just using the guitar volume. So you guys think I'd need to use my Marshall 4x12 with Vintage 30's and Creamback H's and that my PPC112 with a V30 might not cut it?
New Brent Hinds Terror to add to the equation now.
