orange dark terror

Please excuse the ramblings of an old metalhead but gearjonesers recent threads about the tiny terror have me very curious. I have played through one before but methinks i would prefer to have an effects loop just in case i decide to get my Alex Lifeson on. My main axe's are prs sc, hamer studio & hamer special fm. The prs has stock #7's & the hamers have the jb\59 combo. I have already got a earcandy 1x12 cab on the way & need speaker recomendations. My concern is fat sounding guitars through a fat amp so should i get a speaker with moderate mids? My hamer special fm in particular has a massive sound. I'm tired of plugging these jewels into modeling amps. It would be nice to play a tube amp once in a while ya know? I have only had combos never a head and cab and haven't had a tube amp in years. At first i considered the tubemeister 18 but now have pretty much decided on the dark terror. Any help with a speaker choice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: orange dark terror

V30s are meant to work very well with more modern voiced Orange amps.

Re: orange dark terror

I'm using my TT with a Bogner large 212 w/V30's. It seems like the right speaker for the amp because it's got nice upper mids, where the Orange is more Lows/LoMids/crunchy highs.

The result would be the same with the Dark Terror. I think that amp does have an FX loop.
