I'm actually selling mine. I liked it a lot but felt that it had a bassier, looser tone than I prefer. Also, even though I don't play clean a lot, I found one channel kind of limiting.
The one shape control isn't bad, but if you are really into tweaking your sound it may drive you nuts. It is really preference and it is a really cool amp. It has a TON of gain. More than you will probably ever need. Also, if you set it for clean, the cleans are REALLY good, especially on the 15 watt setting. So using it as a clean platform for pedals is also an option.

I have not tried the dual terror or dark terror, but the guys on the orange forum are saying it does not have enough low end cause of lacking transformers:

I have a Jim Root. Its based on the Rockeverb. Its loud, maybe not enough for a show but loud for a little coffee house and too loud for your bedroom. Low volume high gain is passable and fuzzy. Low gain and high volume gives you clarity and a different voice. Cleans are good like the Dark terror mentioned earlier. Lots of gain.
