Of course.

If I would permanently want to mount soapbars in a humbucker guitar I'd try magnet changes in Phat Cats and if they goes nowhere I would have a pickguard shop make mini-pickguards that have a soapbar cavity and regular humbucker ring screw places.

Thanks. So the bushings thread into the body, and the screws thread into the bushings. And the bushings were fairly easy to mount into the wood? I will have to look for these.

Absolutely! Theres a flat head slot in the top of it to drive them in like a screw. Just use a 1/4 inc drill bit to make a pilot hole.

As I mentioned earlier, I think I could clip off tiny amount of the baseplate on my soapbars and fit them without any routing.

Depends on the soapbar, but the ones I make and the ones I've seen, the cover completely surrounds the baseplate so grinding a little off the plate won't do any good. Unless you want to mount the soapbar without a cover.

Since this is a batwing pickguard SG you can then sink the covers into the pickguard and sand off the bottom.

I was merely talking about getting the base pickup into the thing.
