I built this strat in memory of my mom and decided to make it a one trick pony. How's it looking?? waiting on some Gold Grover Mini locking tuners. :)

when first built it looked like this

Now its looking something like this:

Looks like it will rock.

For my tastes, the pale mint green pickguard belongs with a Sixties style Stratocaster - rosewood fingerboard, small headstock. I would have preferred the cream and gold parts against a Parchment plate.

That's just me. Take no notice.

i wanted to jam out of the box. in the end if i hate it ...i can always change it

i think it looks good due to it simplicity. i do think maybe a gold knob might look better but ill play it a bit with the current to see how it sits with me.

And plus its one of the most rare to find custom color vintage Strats- Black, White and Maple. Like Claptons 'Blackie'. Reminds me of my original 1970 "Hendrix " Strat I had when I was a teenager that was mint I traded away for peanuts.

yes. its loosely based off blackie. I wanted to make it more my own. Hence the mint green guard and a single breed pickup
