Just got my new custom shop guitar today
It is 5A mahogany with 5A quilted maple top and maple neck.
Now as for pickups, I'm totally going for parallel axis humbucker set (2), as for the neck it will be Parallel Axis Trembucker™ Original PATB-1 but as for the bridge I'm deliberated the Parallel Axis Trembucker™ Original PATB-1 and Parallel Axis Trembucker™ Blues Sarasceno type.
Playing style goes from light blues to classic rock and more heavy rock with some metal touch.
On bridge position with heavy distortion it should sound fat and punchy, more of a metal style, blasting power chords but not over tightened like a real metal pickup.
For cleans I will play on both B+N (both coils) or B+N split (only inner coils) and it should sound like church bells.
As for heavy distortion on neck only, it should scream / sing.
What do you think regarding choosing a Parallel Axis for the bridge, a PATB-1b or Blues Sarasceno ?
Thanks
