Pearly Gates & Dimarzio Super Distortion?

Does anyone know if a Super Distortion in the bridge works well with a Pearly Gates in the neck in a Les Paul Standard?

Playing through a Peavy Delta Blues and Blues jr.

I have a PG neck in a PAul and Duncan Distortion and a Tone Zone in other Pauls in the bridge. I'm just guessing, but I'd say it would be similar to any other standard 59-ish pup plus a SuperD. I guess it really depends on how much difference you want between the neck and bridge. Also, the PG has a decent bite, which might be a good match for the Super D bridge. Super D is darker than the DD. Interesting Q - PG neck is such an awesome pup in Paul just get it anyway!
