I think Peavey has been building the Classic Series in some form since 1993. It would surprise me if Peavey did not get that same basic circuit into the C20 MH and I expect it has all those Classic tones. I have the VK II 20 MH (same feature set) and the bells and whistles perform as advertised. I never picked up a C20 MH as I still have my C50, C30 and C20 combos.
Find one used and if you are not satisfied with it, I think you should be able to break even selling it.

Original 5150 and Blues Classic with 15" speaker are my two favorite Peavey Amps. Not much on their guitars with the exception of the Vandenberg but I do LOVE my 5150 2x12 Combo (recently equipped with Eminence Texas Heat & Swamp Thang speakers) and always am greatly tempted on the rare occasion when I see a Blues Classic for sale.
Original 5150 and Blues Classic with 15" speaker are my two favorite Peavey Amps. Not much on their guitars with the exception of the Vandenberg but I do LOVE my 5150 2x12 Combo (recently equipped with Eminence Texas Heat & Swamp Thang speakers) and always am greatly tempted on the rare occasion when I see a Blues Classic for sale.

The Classic Series are awesome amps. Talk about workhorses. I knew a guy in CA that had a C30 and gigged 6 nights a week with it. It got tossed around and definitely was worn. He had it serviced like it was his car, very regularly, and it always sounded great.
I don't remember the weight of the Bandits but if the Transtube series aren't too bad, I'd snag one of those at the right price. The old Bandit 75 and original 5150 head I had were boat anchors.

I got nauseous just thinking about an 85 pound combo.
even with wheels, still a ridiculous amount of weight to work with.

Mincer recommended a cart that makes it workable. I still wish Peavey would have included the JSX in the MH form factor...

Clint and I both have one and run them very differently. If I am correct Clint runs his for a slight break-up, I run mine for high gain sans-pedal. They are very versatile great sounding amps. I could do almost any small to medium gig with that amp.
