They are great amps...a little hard to find since they've been out of production for a while now, but they pop up on Ebay now and then. They do require a lot of tubes, 8 power tubes to be exact. That's the only aspect that worries me, as EL-84 tubes tend to be a bit less reliable than other types. Occasionally you'll find one in which the fan is too loud, but that's an easy fix. They sound great, perfect for classic rock, blues, country, jazz...just about anything that's not all-out metal.
But unless you're absolutely sure you need 100 watts, I'd go with the Classic 50 head.
